Casa Carboni Italian Cooking Class Delicious Vegetarian Menu

Casa Carboni

Italian-born chef Matteo Carboni has been offering intimate cooking classes at Casa Carboni since 2012. In this absolutely delicious vegetarian class, you will prepare a four-course menu from the entrée to the dessert. As with all Matteo's classes, the major focus will be on mixing, kneading, rolling and cutting the fresh pasta by hand, and you will all work together to prepare the rest of the menu. The menu will be inspired by seasonal produce available at the Barossa Farmers Market and Casa Carboni's neighbours at the Barossa Cheese Company. A sample menu: Piadina Romagnola, a delicious flat bread which will be served with local fresh cheese and sauteed spinach Soft pillows of potato or ricotta gnocchi Ravioli filled with roasted pumpkin served with melted butter & sage Nonna Pia's Creme Caramel After the class you will be seated in the Enoteca and dine on the wonderful dishes you have just prepared with wine and D'Angelo coffee and artisan teas to finish.
All classes at Casa Carboni include a leisurely delicious 4 course lunch with European wine.
