Contained in Nimbin Accommodation offers two private and fully self-contained cottages that are located just a short three-minute drive to the historic and unique village of Nimbin in New South Wales. The Eco-sensitive cottages are situated on a ten-acre self-sufficient permaculture farm, on the banks of the pristine Goolmangar Creek. Both Wollumbin and Nightcap Cottage provide vistas of rainforest, rural farmlands, a permaculture farm and friendly cows. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, living space and dining area, bedroom with private en-suite, flushing toilet and shower. The cottages accommodate up to two guests with a queen-sized bed made from sustainably sourced timber, with beautiful bamboo linen supplied. The cottages are super insulated and come with reverse-cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans. There is also an undercover sustainably sourced hardwood deck with a lounge and barbecue that you can relax on while taking in the views and enjoying the bird song. Both cottages have also been designed and built with a focus on reducing their impact on the environment. The cottages have a five-star building sustainability index rating, solar hot water and are powered by solar. Contained In Nimbin is a one-hour drive from Byron/ Ballina Airport and one hour and 50 minutes from the Gold Coast, QLD.
