Adelaide Equestrian Festival

Pakapakanthi / Victoria Park (Park 16)

The Adelaide Equestrian Festival is Australia's premier equestrian event and the only 5-Star equestrian competition in the Southern Hemisphere, set within the stunning Adelaide Park Lands, just minutes from the CBD. The Festival delivers a rare opportunity to experience Olympic-level equestrian sport in an iconic urban setting. As the only Horse Trials held within a major city any where in the world, the Festival attracts elite international riders and horses while highlighting Adelaide as a vibrant tourism destination. Beyond the arena, the Adelaide Equestrian Festival offers a family-friendly festival experience with something for everyone. Headline entertainment includes Tom Curtain, whose interactive live show blends music, horses, working dogs and hands-on fun for kids, creating a highlight for families and first-time visitors alike. Horse enthusiasts can also enjoy the Festival's Education Hub, featuring FREE seminars led by renowned experts, offering insights into horse behaviour, training, welfare and the future of equestrian sport. Explore more than 50 retail and lifestyle stalls, sample the best of South Australian street food, alongside premium beverages. Younger visitors will love the ATCO Kids Corral, a free interactive space with arts and crafts, outdoor games and face painting. Combining elite sport, live entertainment, education and family fun, the Adelaide Equestrian Festival is a celebration of sport, culture and community — and a must-see event on South Australia's major events calendar.
