A family-friendly weekend full of fun, laughter, and action-packed activities at the Shearers Shindig awaits at the Thargomindah Sports Oval. Activities include, Live Music and DJ with Brown snake Studio featuring Stephen Brown, Colour Run Fun to get active and colourful with the whole family, and Exciting Races including Wool Bale, Potato Sack, Three-legged, Egg 'n' Spoon and Flag Races. Explore local market stalls and food vendors offering a tasty variety of treats, while soaking up the vibrant outback atmosphere. The weekend highlight is the legendary Quick Shears Competition! Take part in the Shearers Smoko and Info Chat to learn more about the wool industry, shearing techniques, and equipment. Check out the Dachshund Dog Races. Whether it's action-packed Pig races, live music, or the adrenaline of the quick shears, there's something for everyone at the Shearers Shindig 2026. An epic outback adventure awaits!
