Hervey Bay Whale Festival: City and Sea and Tasman Holiday Parks Parade of Lights
City Park and Seafront Oval
An unforgettable day of family fun is offered at the Hervey Bay Whale Festival with three exciting events packed in one.
The festivities begin at City Park, where visitors can browse market stalls, explore interactive marine displays, meet a real-life mermaid, and take part in a lantern-making workshop.
The Tasman Holiday Parks Parade of Lights will make its way along Main Street with this year's theme "Magical Migration". Participants are encouraged to dress in their brightest ocean-inspired costumes and join the walking parade from City Park to Seafront Oval. The parade is open to everyone.
The celebration continues at Seafront Oval, with carnival rides, live entertainment, market stalls, a variety of food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display.
Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with fun, creativity, entertainment, and community spirit!
