Rutherglen Market
Rutherglen Lions Park
Discover the heart and flavour of North-East Victoria at the vibrant Rutherglen Market, where everything is seasonal, regional, and beautifully crafted. Held on the second Sunday of every month, this much-loved market brings together a lively mix of stallholders showcasing the very best in fresh produce, artisan goods, and local creativity.
Arrive with a bag, basket, or esky and get ready to fill it with delicious finds, from farm-fresh fruit and vegetables to handmade treats. There's always something new to discover, so come with an open mind and let your tastebuds lead the way.
One of the true joys of the market is meeting the people behind the produce. Chat with growers, producers, and artisans who are passionate about what they do. You'll often walk away with not just something special, but a story, a tip, or even a new recipe to try at home.
As the seasons change, so does the market, offering the freshest flavours at their peak. It's a wonderful way to shop, supporting local, tasting better, and connecting with the land and community.
And no visit is complete without a stop at the legendary Rutherglen Lions Club stall. Their iconic egg and bacon rolls have been a staple since the very beginning, and they're every bit as good as the tradition suggests.
