Mimbi Caves Campground

Nestled at the foot of the Emmanuel Ranges and just a short drive off Great Northern Highway, the campground has a Gooniyandi name "Jarlarloo Riwi"; Jarlarloo means Coolamon tree, and Riwi means camp.
Come and camp and experience the indigenous guided tours offered at the nearby Mimbi Caves, one of Australia's most spectacular and significant natural geological sites. Mimbi Caves is a place of deep spiritual significance to the Gooniyandi people as well as being one of the most significant Devonian fossil sites in the world and is a must-see when in the region.
The Mimbi Campground has 35 camping sites with camping areas for tour or school groups.
The property is open from April to October but may open earlier if the weather allows. Visitors are advised to check for alerts and road closures before commencing their travel.
