The Woolgoolga District Orchid Society is proud to present the 2025 International Conference and Show. Flourishing in the wild within our region, from the Dorrigo hinterland, north to the Clarence River and down to the sand dunes, is a rich native orchid growing area boasting over 200 terrestrial, epiphytic, lithophytic and saprophytic orchids, from the smallest orchid in the world – Bulbophyllum minutissimum to one of the largest – Pseudovanilla foliata. Appropriately, the theme for this triennial event is “Orchids from the Mountains to the Sea.” Woolgoolga District Orchid Society, whose history goes back well over 30 years, when first formed, is one of the largest and growing Orchid Societies in regional New South Wales. They cordially invite orchid lovers around the world to join them in the celebration of orchids. Hear from acclaimed International and world-renowned speakers, growers and hybridisers providing up-to-date scientific and cultural practices, trends on the latest advances in growing techniques, breeding programs, biotechnology and conservation.
