It is a meandering journey along quite country back roads passing through small country towns, through rural landholdings and native bush land. It is a land of broad horizons and what is labelled as 'big sky country' and the perfect why to explore what some describe as the 'other Australia', the land and communities outside the big cities. The supported cycle tours offer full logistic support from accommodation bookings, on-route cycle servicing if required, emergency communications, bad weather contingencies, freshly prepared lunches and morning/afternoon teas, luggage transfer, daily briefing and backup should that be required. For those wanting to make their own way, PedalVentures offer premium self-guided tours with GPS route maps, trail notes, accommodation bookings, luggage transfers and backup and retrieval if required. PedalVentures is a Central West dedicated cycle tour operator and runs regular tours to the Warrumbungles and Pilliga region, the Central West Cycle Trail, the Capertee Valley and Wollemi region and the Lachlan Valley Cycle Trail.     Explore Central West of NSW on the bike for a truly authentic rural Australian experience. Cycling along a mix of paved and unpaved backroads this seven-day six-night cycle journey passes through the towns of Gulgong, Wellington, Dubbo, Ballimore and Dunedoo covering over 400 kilometres. The journey passes through rural land holdings and working farms, native bushland and small classic Australian towns with a number of stops to meet the locals and enjoy some country hospitality. Being a supported tour you'll be treated to some great lunches and coffee stops along the way, enjoy luggage transfer each day and can feel reassured that if assistance is required it is never far away.
