  This is a day trip tour departing in the morning from Sydney (pick up from Sydney metropolitan area) to the Hunter Valley wine country returning to Sydney early evening. The finer details including your choice of wineries (preferred grape varieties) and a lunch restaurant will be chosen to fit your tastes. The Hunter Valley is Australia's oldest wine making region that is located just over two hours drive from Sydney. With over 150 wineries and a range of grape types including Chardonnay, Semillion, Verdelho, Shiraz and Merlot, there is an abundance of wine loving varieties to sample and enjoy. You’ll choose up to three vineyards to visit with a cheese or chocolate tasting option should the third vineyard become a little too much. Wollombi is a small historical town almost lost in time, discover its quaint modern day reality while learning about its' interesting past. It's the perfect stop on the way to the vineyards and a great place to enjoy a coffee and snack.
