The Lookouts Walking Track is located in the Burrowa-Pine Mountain National Park and offers two variations for the surefooted. The start of the walk is located at the Cudgewa Bluff Falls, where water cascades off the park plateau, over Cudgewa Bluff and into a grotto below. (access to the grotto below is currently affected due to the 2019/2020 bushfires that burnt 98% of the Park). Campbells Lookout, 1.4km return. Leaving from the top Bluff Falls carpark, you will initially climb up to the smaller Top Falls, where Bluff Creek cascades into a gully. Access past the Top Falls is via a metal walkway and ladder and from here the track rises again to Campbells Lookout, which is a rocky escarpment that will have you looking out over the steep cliffs and the slopes of Cudgewa Bluff. A steel fence safety barrier marks the end of the track. Both children and adults will delight in the magical quality of discovery ferns and a fairylike landscape along the waters edge. Return from Campbell's Lookout to the car park or turn off and continue to Ross Lookout. Ross Lookout, 6.4km return. Extend your walk by continuing past Campbell's Lookout in search of more excellent views of the Park and surrounding countryside along the way. This is a tough climb and an additional 5km return. The Lookouts Walking Track is not recommended for young children, and some experience with walking is recommended even for older children due to its narrow, steep, and unprotected edges....
