Loxton Historical Village Alive Day

Loxton Historical Village Alive Day is a great family day full of working historical exhibits and demonstrations. See sheep shearing, blacksmithing, whip-cracking (with come and try), printing, rope making and stationary engines working. There will also be a tractor parade, kid's crafts, food and craft stalls, and free horse and cart rides. Smell fresh bread baking at the Bakery, along with other yummy bakery treats for sale, and lollies in the General Store. Climb aboard the steam train and have a go at horse-shoe-toss, knucklebones, marbles and hopscotch. Sit at the old desks in the school room and have a go at writing cursive and check out the wonderful display of schoolwork and things seen in classrooms in the early 1900s. Chat with the saddle maker, and carpenter....
