Powered by renewables – solar, rain, a greywater filtration system and composting toilet – the lofted ceilings and insulated marine ply walls harness the local climatic conditions while skylights and expansive windows also lessen energy use. And without WiFi or TV, you can reacquaint yourself with analogue activities. Sip on native-ingredient tea blends by Indigenous-owned food company Warndu, handground Soho Coffee beans or a glass of riesling from the grapes outside.
