Dyers Steak Stable was founded in 1972 and it was the brainchild of Murray Dyer who had a vision of a restaurant in the rustic iconic period landmark. Formally, the stables of the Old British Queen Hotel, it dates back to the mid-1860s, hence the origin of the name.
