Much of the region is still exactly as Matthew Flinders found it when he first explored this area 200 years ago.   Join us on an expedition to three of Australia’s most remote and fascinating southern islands, carved by the treacherous waters of Bass Strait and the Great Southern Ocean. • A Weekend in Strahan

  

  Located on the rugged and remote west coast of Tasmania, Strahan offers some of Tasmania’s most beautiful scenery. Not serviced by commercial flights, Australian Air Safaris solves the access issue by flying directly from Melbourne to the Strahan airstrip in ninety minutes.
