DiGiorgio Family Wines is a family owned and operated winery and cellar door right in the heart of Coonawarra. They offer a wide range of experiences for you to enjoy their wines, available for singles through to small groups. You will have the choice of a customised seated tasting, a wine flight matched to food, a tour and private tasting learning about the history of Coonawarra and the DiGiorgio family or a pasta masterclass and lunch with the DiGiorgio family....

    Enjoy a seated, customised wine tasting in our cellar door. Choose six wines from our tasting menu and enjoy at your leisure. Time is strictly limited to 45 minutes so please arrive a few minutes early. Tasting fee is redeemable on purchase

    Enjoy a reserved seated tasting of six of our premium wines matched to six bites of regional food. Wines will include sparkling, white wine and red wine from our Coonawarra and Renaissance range and will be matched to regional produce including savoury and one sweet. Your tasting will be set up in cellar door with views over our lawn or outside under our umbrella or on our lawn with views of the vineyard if weather permits.

    Starting in cellar door, enjoy a tour of our property including points of interest, learn about the formation of our famous Coonawarra Terra Rossa soil and take photos in our soil pit, view the cork trees and find out how cork is harvested, get up close to our 100 year old vines, hear about the history of Coonawarra and the DiGiorgio family with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. Take a tour of the winery and learn what happens from go to woe, from crushing to pressing to fermentation and visit the enormous barrel hall. Finish with a guided tasting in our private tasting area including barrel sample and aged wine in the original barrel hall with a shared local produce platter followed by individual serves of handmade Italian meatballs with crusty bread

    Bring out your inner Italian as you learn how to make and cook your own pasta, followed by a sit down lunch with members of the DiGiorgio Family. Be greeted in cellar door before making your way to the barrel hall where your own station will be set up ready for you. Enjoy a glass of sparkling while the family tell you about their origins and migration to winemaking in Coonawarra. Learn about the art of pasta making and a brief history before rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in to your own batch. The DiGiorgio family will guide you through the kneading, rolling, cutting and cooking process then you will enjoy your creations with a handmade traditional sauce, parmigiano regiano, crusty bread and a green salad. There will be some tasty nibbles to snack on during the process and a traditional dessert followed by coffee and biscotti to finish, all enjoyed with DiGiorgio wines including an aged Cabernet Sauvignon
