During their stay, guests can learn about Tarraleah’s intriguing Tasmanian history, built originally as a town to house families stationed there during the building of Tasmania’s Hydro-electric Scheme. The 1930's cottages have been fully refurbished keeping their original Art Deco design, warmth and charm. They feature Tasmanian-designed timber furniture, polished floorboards, warm fires, queen-size beds and a fully-equipped kitchen and dining areas.
