Alexandria is a gracious Federation style home built in 1905 on the banks of the Inglis River, 1.5 km from the town centre of Wynyard and Burnie Airport, offering services of Bed and Breakfast accommodation and function venue. You will stay in beautiful homely accommodation with rooms overlooking the gardens, all with ensuite bathrooms, catering for business, holiday and family needs. Our dining room and gardens are available to book for intimate function events including wedding ceremonies, high teas, lunches, business meetings and photo sessions.   The Tulip Room, named after the beautiful flowers that are on show in our area and garden during Spring, is the largest room available. With its own private access and outside deck positioned under the shade of the magnificent English Oak, guests can enjoy their own space and garden. After a complete renovation it has been styled to reflect the federation era of the main house, with a modern twist. The Tulip Room offers every convenience needed for short or long stays, including a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and extra crockery.
