Manly, New South Wales
North of the city, the beautiful stretch of coastline from Manly to Palm Beach has a relaxed beachside ambience and plenty of things to see and do. With the Pacific Ocean on one side and Pittwater on the other, the peninsula covers about 18 kilometres of open coastline and has excellent dining, surf beaches, waterways and parklands. Bordering Pittwater to the west is Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, which has pockets of rainforest with creeks, waterfalls, Aboriginal rock art and campsites. Outdoor ocean pools along the northern beaches are at Manly, Queenscliff, Freshwater, South and North Curl Curl, Collaroy, Dee Why, North Narrabeen, Monavale, Newport, Bilgola, Avalon, Whale Beach and Palm Beach....
