The Company The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) was created in 2001 as a joint initiative of the Government Tourism Organisations from all Australian States and Territories and Tourism Australia to further secure Australia's position in the global tourism marketplace and increase the number and expenditure of visitors to Australia. The ATDW was developed to fill an identified need to market a comprehensive range of Australian tourism product and destination information without limitations of geographical boundaries. The ATDW provides many benefits to both the travel industry and consumers. The ATDW enables the tourism industry to cost effectively participate in the growing e-commerce value chain and have their product promoted on many travel companies (distributor) websites.
