ATDW and V3 Alliance: Tourism Exchange Australia
ATDW has launched a breakthrough initiative in digital marketing for the entire Australian tourism industry, with the signing of an alliance with V3, delivering Australia's first truly inclusive booking exchange. ATDW has teamed with V3 to provide a new service, Tourism Exchange Australia (TXA), using V3's unique Open Booking ExchangeTM technology. TXA links tourism providers with distributors and is an industry-wide initiative, covering accommodation, tours, attractions and events.
The TXA provides all types of tourism distributors, including travel agents and online publishers, with access to the tourism companies' real-time price and availability; and importantly the opportunity to book directly with the tourism supplier online or use their own booking engine. Please visit Tourism Exchange Australia and Press Releases for more information on this exciting venture.
Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC)
ATEC is the peak industry body representing Australia’s $24 billion tourism export sector. Our mission is to build better business relationships for our members and to represent the inbound tourism industry before government and business leaders.
We are the largest membership-based organisation representing Australia's tourism export sector. Our 1100+ members come from across the country and across the industry – including inbound tour operators, tourism product suppliers and service providers. The members of our ATEC family have one major thing in common – a commitment to growing Australia's international tourism market.
Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN)
ATDW is a proud member of the Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN). The ARTN is the peak national body representing regional tourism practitioners and acts as a hub for collaboration, cooperation, ideas generation, knowledge sharing, networking and so much more. The ARTN, on behalf of its members, advocates the fostering of sustainable regional development and amplifies key messages to government, other industries and industry sectors, researchers, educators and the public.
The OpenTravel Alliance provides a community where companies in the electronic distribution supply chain work together to create an accepted structure for electronic messages, enabling suppliers and distributors to speak the same interoperability language, trading partner to trading partner.
